Maple syrup season is on. I have a way better setup this year... took an old wood stove that was in mom's basement, then cut a 12'' x 20" hole in the top. Ran some woodstove rope seal around the hole, and fit a deep buffet pan in the opening. It hold about 15l of sap, and with a good fire boils it down in no time.
